Model 1 Palet Safety Gate

The Model 1 is a pallet safety gate certified by TÜV SÜD Product Service GmbH and Apave, specifically designed for simple workstations. It facilitates the safe loading and unloading of pallets between different levels while ensuring optimal protection for the operator.

With its robust and flexible design, this safety gate can be used in almost any setting, making it particularly suitable for work environments requiring simplified handling and efficient safety solutions. Various versions are available to meet individual needs.

Functionality:

In the loading position, the front safety railing is raised at the platform edge while the gate remains in the “open” position. Support posts and the rear safety railing secure access to the pallet area. A forklift or crane places the pallet inside the safety gate. The operator can then tilt the rear railing, which closes the front railing at the platform edge, bringing the gate into the “closed” position. This mechanism ensures safe access to the pallet and reliable operator protection.

Options and Customizations:

• Tailored dimensions: The safety gate can be custom-designed to exact specifications provided by the customer or the operational requirements, ensuring a perfect fit for the application.
• Multiple pallet passage: For requirements involving the simultaneous passage of multiple pallets in width or depth, Model 1 is available in reinforced versions, offering enhanced durability while remaining easy to handle.
• Combined variants: Model 1 is also available as a combined structure, featuring a tilting gate on one side and a folding transfer station on the other. This version saves space on the platform and can be operated manually or (optionally) automatically.

Additional Safety Features:

To prevent small objects from falling, the front railing can be equipped with a grid or infill panel. Model 1 is user-friendly and offers high flexibility.
